If you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know that I love nothing more than sourcing out the latest up and coming jewellery designers. With enough rings to propose to the whole of the US and more bracelets than I could ever imagine actually wearing… it’s official; I am jewellery obsessed.

Reading Festival 2012

It’s now 5 or 6 days on and I’m still replaying the weekend in my head *over and over*...  

Was it Don Broco’s front man, Rob, that stole the show with his energy and charisma? 

Was it just the sheer excitement of knowing that Grohl was only ever a matter of hours away from doing what he does best? Maybe it was just seeing band after band play, ticking off a few that had been on the ol’ to do list for quite some time and tipping back a few beers with my favourite people?

Well, I literally do not know what it was but one thing I know for sure is that Reading festival did not disappoint!

Olympic Closing Ceremony 2012.

So, this weekend. Where to even begin! There were highs and there were some serious lows… little old me mapped out a pretty amazing weekend – Boardmasters festival followed by the ‘lympic closing ceremony. Bliss, right?

Wrong! We’re talking something like 12 hours in the car, stuck in traffic… a dodgy hotel just off the motorway after we admitted defeat and settled in a room full of coffin dodgers. Yes, laugh… we did too. It was one of those epic, ‘laugh or cry’ moments… and one that having Dave Grohl on full volume, with my vocals being stretched, couldn’t save.
